3 quick things for you

It’s June and the temperatures are rising this side of the equator. Plus, for many parts of the world, the job listings PMs are rising too.

Overall job listings are up

This week I published my latest jobs numbers and was pleased to report the highest number of open jobs since September 2024, and the second highest volume since a year ago.

While the numbers aren’t up everywhere, it seems we’re no longer in a free fall.

Where jobs are up

Europe, Middle East, Canada, and the UK are all up from their low point of the last 12 months between 24-58%. The European Economic Area is actually performing the strongest, just 1% shy of it’s high point in the last year.

Middle East and Canada both recorded their 12-month high point in June.

Where jobs are down

APAC has fallen more than 35% from its high point the last 12 months and the June report was just 1% shy of the low point at the start of 2025. Latin America has also dropped far from their high point by more than 56%.

The largest market, the United States, is also far from it’s high point of 10.8k job listings, clocking in at 8.6k in June.

Amazon’s Product Operating Model(s)

This week I gave a talk on the different product operating models I worked in at Amazon. It’s the deepest I’ve gone into talking about what it was like working there over 8 years, in 3 different business units, and in 2 different headquarter offices in 2 countries.

You can watch the replay on YouTube, along with other talks I've given.

I’m working on something new

And finally, I will be announcing something new to all of you that I think you’re really going to love. You’ll hear it here first.

As I hope you know by now, I put a lot of effort into helping the broader PM community by providing free content, masterclasses, and exclusive resources.

I deeply understand just how challenging it is to navigate a career in Product Management—and I want to help you in even more ways.

If you want to know what I’m cooking up, continue to watch this space. Or, simply reply to today’s newsletter and I’ll give you a sneak peek!

That’s all for this week.

I’m wishing you a wonderful Summer ahead.
